As we live and work here on earth, it is relatively easy for us to hide things and pretend. But the true character of our works will ultimately be exposed at the Judgment Seat of Christ. He will reveal whether our works have been good or bad. The character of
our service will be revealed as well as the motives that impelled us.
For those of us who have been faithful, it will be a time of rejoicing as we glorify the Lord by giving our rewards back to Him in worship and praise.
It behooves every Christian to examine his own life regularly to see if he is ready for the Judgment Seat of Christ. You will want to give a good account before Christ, so live today with that thought in mind.
From God’s Word: “Every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is” (1 Corinthians 3:8, 13).

Action assignment: Consider what a great blessing it is to know that you won’t be condemned for your sins. Talk to God and thank Him for that fact. What are the things in your life that Christ will reward you for? What are the things you can do today that Christ could count as “good works”?
