Then the Lord said to Moses, “Say to Aaron. ‘Stretch out your staff, and strike the dust of the

earth, so that it may become gnats throughout all the land of Egypt.

Then the magicians said to Pharaoh. “This is the finger of God.” (NASB)

The Loizeaux family offers a unique service. As owners of Controlled Demolition Inc., they

Pharaoh’s magicians found that God was equally capable. When Aaron struck the dust of the

ground, God caused it to become gnats. This was something the; magicians were unable to

duplicate.

Furthermore, these vexing, almost invisible insects interfered with the ritual purity of the priests,

preventing them from fulfilling their duties to their gods. Unable to replicate the miracle and

unable to tolerate the consequences of these minuscule but mighty pests, the priestly magicians

finally admitted to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God.” With a single digit of His powerful

hand,

God brought the whole land of Egypt to its knees. Their belief in the powerful arm of their gods

lay in shambles. God proved He had more power in one finger than all their Idols put together.

When life seems overwhelming and worries rise up like towering skyscrapers, remember that

God only needs to point a finger to bring it all tumbling down. Bring your troubles to Him and

leave them there. He’ll take care of them. Remember, He is the master of the one-digit

demolition.

GOD CAN DO WITH ONE FINGER WHAT OTHERS CANNOT DO WITH ALL
